Volunteer Service Sundays
We want to get kids off the streets, give unfortunate kids an ideas of how they might rather their futures to be like, lets the children know that they are not alone and there are people truly care, teaches youth self love, let the youths know they have somewhere to go, teaches that no matter how flawed we are there is still hope and love for us all, and our world is depending on them to be the light that pulls us out. I believe success is us as the people making change that betters our world and makes the world a safe place for the youth, for our future generations.

With solid educational foundation and 12 years’ experience in various areas of the mental health field, I am prepared to make a difference in the lives of youth. My relevant qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling. I am also trained in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and CPR certified. I have experienced involving youth in community activities to foster volunteer attitudes. I have worked in private practices, served as an education youth supervisor, facilitated diverse youth groups, and worked in Utilization Review for both inpatient and outpatient levels of care for youth. My previous position was a Qualified Mental Health Professional for the Dallas County-Youth Advocate Program. I have provided case management and psychosocial/rehabilitative inventions to youth in need of mental health services. Services included but were not limited to development of treatment goals and objectives, referral, linkage, advocacy, monitoring, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and skills training. Also, experienced as Treatment Coordinator training in Utilization Management/Leadership at Behavioral Hospital. In this role, I was responsible for completing reviews: initial, concurrent, discharge, peer, retro, and appeals for the Inpatient and Outpatient programs for youth. During my tenure, I have successfully upheld the length of stay while simultaneously advocating for the safety and well-being of my patients. Not only my passion lies with helping youth, but also, helping their families by analyzing, researching, and providing a fitting solution to their problems and needs. As the Founder/and Executive Director of The Little Sapphires Challengers, I am very delighted for having the opportunity to receive my passion daily-Lisa Bailey

Our dedicated team has a solid education and experience in various areas of the mental health field. Not only our passions lie with helping youth, but also, helping people by analyzing, researching, and providing a fitting solution to their problems and needs. We are well trained in private practices, served as mental health advocates, and facilitated youth groups. During our tenures, we have successfully helped unprivileged kids and teens while simultaneously advocating for their safety and well-being from becoming homeless. We volunteer at The Family Place Woman's Shelter to assist with victims, and their children of domestic abuse.
